Lordy we missed you, Miss Blue! As you can probably see, we've been bad and need some straightening out. :-)

9/06/06: 6 mo. PSA: 18.8 CT shows distant lymph node involvement Start HT Lupron 3 mo. shots
12/06/06: PSA 0.8
03/07/07 - PSA 0.3

You are priceless….. truly!!!!  Thank you for the sweet message… I think this little bluebird will stay sitting on the fencepost… looking for “Newbies”

 

Buddy didn’t see your posting and went and booked us another cruise in December!!

Izzy’s all excited cuz she wants to go!!!!  Biker’s ready for a partyyyyyy too!!  Swim's waiting for Jetguy to pick her up in the jet (he has the keys!!!)  ...  What fun! 

 

Seriously, I missed all of you too!!  It’s nice to be home and back with "friends" each of you!

PSA = First ever was 9.8 in late Oct. ‘06, two weeks later, 10.1

DRE: Negative

Biopsy results 11/22/06 (6 out of 8 cores positive), both lobes, Gleason 3+3 = 6

Da Vinci Robotic RP surgery, City of Hope, Jan 12, 2007

Post surgery pathology – Organ confined, Gleason still 6, margins clear.

First post-surgery PSA -- Undetectable, 2/20/07

Didnt you know that "absence makes the heart grow fonder"?  With vacation from time to time, Bluebird will come back stronger than ever!  It gave us a chance to better appreciate all of her good deeds here and not take her for granted.  Besides it gave us time to be naughtly because she wasn't looking over our shoulder and making us "toe the line"!

68, 29-core biopsy 9/27/06, PSA 7.1, Stage T1c, Gleason 7 (3+4) [less than 20% in one area],  Gleason 6 [less than 5% in two other areas], negative DRE, bone scan and Endorectal MRI. Completed 39 Proton radiation treatments 2/22/07-4/18/07.
First PSA test to be taken 7/07.
