Dear Glen *Our  Spinbiscuit

                                                        Life’s Journey

It’s not easy saying goodbye,

But we want you to know how deeply you’ve touched our lives.

We wish for you all of what life continues to offer…

and we hope and pray that each day your path stays smooth….

Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you!

May happiness and good health… be yours in life’s continuing journey.

We miss you but we understand that life goes on and it is a personal journey and we respect this.  (But ~ we truly miss you!!!!)

Thank you for all you’ve done to help “all of us” to move forward in our own personal journeys.  Reminding us repeatedly…. Not to lift!!!!!  The best advice coming from a forum veteran…. who knows what he’s talking about.

This is my (our) way of letting go… by saying goodbye for now dear friend.

When the time is right for you…. We hope to hear from you again.

And if it’s not meant to be… we want you to know

“You made a difference in all of our lives!!!!”   yeah

In loving friendship to a truly dear and special friend.

Warm Hugs and Gentle Thoughts are always there for you and Jane.

Spinbiscuit put our minds at ease more than a couple of times last summer, right after surgery. Of course, the love of barbecue and sharing a great spaghetti sauce recipe are not forgotten, either.

We do speak of you here in the middle-of-nowhere East Texas, Glen. After your own string of trials, hope all is well.

Hello M. Kat, GreenAcres, jetguy, and bluebird,

I haven't been visiting the sight very often, and I must apologize. Things have been going well for the family (now that 2006 is over), and I have been working on several new projects. August will be my 18 month check-up; time is really flying. I have not read all the prior posts so I hope that all is going well for all of you.

We just returned from Daufuski Island SC where we attended a wedding, and yes I had BBQ pork! The weather was perfect, and not a single bug bite (luck has returned). On the way home we had to stop at Cracker Barrel for breakfast; eggs, grits, sausage, bisquits with gravy, and lots of hot coffee "YUM" it was the best! I guess my cholesterol is off the charts, but it was worth it.

Well I hope you all are having a great summer so far. I will try to visit more frequently. Thanks for the kind thoughts and wishes. God bless all of you.

Glen (Spinbiscuit)

Hi Glen:  Nice to hear that all is going well.  I agree -- time has passed quickly since my surgery too.  It's hard to believe that I'm four months out already.

Looking back on the early stages of my recovery, I'm reminded of that old expression about raising kids -- "The days never end, but the years fly by."  There were some loooong days back in January, February and March.

Let's all enjoy lots of good days and future years.

Keep on keepin' on, my man!

Best to ya!

Tom

It truly is good to hear from you!!! Moving forward and getting back to a “norm” is the stepping-stone that we are headed toward when we start on this path.
