Age 72. Diagnosed 11/03/06. PSA 7.05. Stage T2B Gleason 3+3.
RRP 12/7/06. Nerves and nodes okay.
Pathological stage: T2B. Gleason 3+4. Cancer confined to prostate.
PSA on 1/3/07 - 0.04. 
PSA on 4/4/07 - 0.00  T level - 48  Restarted T therapy.
Next PSA on 7/18/07.

Path results: 1% of prostate involved. Very small tumors on both right and left apex. Negative margins, negative seminal vessicles, lymph nodes left intact. Gleason upgraded 3+4=7.

I am totally filled with emotion, with such an outpouring of kindness, and support.

That's me with the BEAUTIFUL BRIDE!! Now I'm starting to cry again.  Stuff like this just moves me to tears.

1st PSA Post OP  Undetectable!!!!!!  OFF THE CHART
2nd CT scan, to recheck enlarged lymph nodes not related to PCa NO CHANGE relook in 6 months

Good luck Broker. I think you will be very happy to get to the "other side" of treatment. It felt like my life was on hold for a long time waiting for surgery.

Pathology - cancer completely contained, even a second more aggressive, previously undetected cancer)
PSA UNDETECTABLE Nov 2006, Feb and May,2007.

Bob also has two secondary conditions -- Polycythemia (elevated red & white cells & platelets) and . . Myelofibrosis) -- If anyone has experience with or information on these, please email us.

Well I could not be happier, finally on the other side of this monster.
 
Doctor was real happy with the surgery, doubts if there was any spreading, but will know for sure tomorrow.  3 weeks with MR. HANG due to scar tissue from old procedure, small price to pay for being well!  NO pain or discomfort except when I sit up or cough.  I can handel that!  Staples come out Friday!

Doctor called about 7 tonight;  NO CANCER OUTSIDE THE PROSTATE!!!
 
All margins clean, LN/SV BIG NEGATIVE!!!
