I had Da Vinci five weeks ago and all went pretty fine. Surgeon said I might get E back after a year or so. When I tok out catheter I was dry and have been since that day. And I was very surprised 12 days after surgery I woke up with a E big capital letter almost a 100 percent. I was given Cialis 10 mg but dont need it. At first I was told to stimulate to get an E because its good with a blodflow into the operated area and to get E.

But after I told the urolog terapeut I had not a big problem with stimulate to an E she said I should be careful and not take the Cialis and let it be for awhile. And not stimulate only let it come in nights. I also recieved som orgasm already 15 days after operation. Now I hear that orgasm and to stimulate to much can be damaging for the seams? Can anybody give advice? My basic questions are: 1. How often is it advisable to try to get an E? Does it matter if it leads to O? Or is that damaging to? 2. When is it advisable to get into real sexual intercourse? :-) (no jokes please :-) ) (when you have find a mate :-) )....

As often as you like Rickard. It is perfectly okay to do whatever you feel like trying at this point. Continue the Cialis a couple of times a week for a while at least. It isn't a pill just for "E"s and "O"s :>)

Congrats on such a wonderful recovery. Most men who lose one nerve do not recover as you seem to be.

Great outcome Rickard. I have been doing well on the "E" front too. My experience is that the good "E's" do not happen every day. Some days are good, some day's are just so so. Two steps forward and one step back but progressivley better overall.

My doctor told me that stimulation was good for recovery. Did not say anything about damage from overdoing E or O.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers,
Joe

great recovery Rickard! our doctor told us to do what we wanted as long as there wasn't any pain. stimulation creates blood flow which helps with healing.

My doc wanted me to have at least 2 every day and to hope for night time ones, as soon as the catheter came out. He didn't say anything about risking sutures. Other than not to be too exuberant with my wife IF I was actually able to perform. :)
