Hey all!

It's been almost a year since my DaVinci and I've stayed dry except for the minor dribble from being too tired.  Last night though I woke to find myself soaked.  I usually go before going to bed (which I did) and may wake during the night to go.  Has anyone else had this happen?  This is the first time and I wonder if it wasn't a fluke or something else starting to go wrong.  I just had a psa 2 weeks ago and it was undetectable!

I'm five months out and have had a few experiences like yours -- maybe three. In each case it has happened after I drank a wee bit too much of the alcohol that evening. Are you drinking or taking any kind of tranquilizer or muscle relaxant meds.? That could play into it. It happened to me early in the evening while I dozed on the recliner or during an afternoon nap, after a lunch with vino. Never during the night though.
So -- watch the alcohol and the general amount of liquid you consume toward the end of the day.  It adds up and will overtax your bladder while you're dead asleep.
I'm sure it has something to do with your solid/liquid/ diet, but be sure to talk to your doctor about it.
Best to ya,

Tom

I'm a year past RP and just had the same thing happen.   However, I also had radiation... I called my Radiation/Oncologist --- he said its not a recurrence issue, but I shpould check back in with my uro.   THat's what I'm doing --- I'll follow this thread to see what others might share.

Thanks for your help guys!  I do watch how much I drink at night....no liquids after 7pm!  I did have a beer that evening around 6.  I have had alcohol later and 2 or 3 classes of wine...but no issues.

I'll keep watching.......
