Hello All,
I just joined this forum (actually, it's my first ever) to gain any/all information available on prostate cancer and the daVinci surgery -- you all seem to have such knowledge on this matter.  My father has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer and his urologist has referred him to a surgeon named Dr. Justin Lee of Arlington, TX.  We want to ensure that this is the best daVinci surgeon in the Dallas, TX area.  I read your other chats regarding Dr. Randy ***in of Austin, TX and his ranking appears to be #1 for Texas.  However, my father wants to stay in the Dallas area.  Who's the number daVinci surgeon in Dallas?  The answer to this is greatly appreciated as well as any info on Dr. Justin Lee.
Thanks in advance.

Quote from Roslin....taken from "Our Journey ~ Sharing is Caring by Buddy & Lee"
Lee and Buddy,
Thanks for the welcoming words and sharing your journey.  I found some useful info and will definitely pass it on to my parents, especially my father.  I totally agree that while the cancer is physically on my father; it is a disease that affects the whole family.  I pray that my father has the same success you did and that if we do go with surgery that this Dr. Justin Lee is one of the best.
Thanks again,  Roslin

Whatever surgeon you pick I would strongly advise getting one that has done at least 100 robotic prostatectomies. The outcomes are shown to be much improved with experience. You might check out drslawin.com or his report experience http://www.drslawin.com/Surgical%20Margins%20AUA%202006.pdf
