Well had the biopsy yesterday, it was a breeze, they applied Lidocane (sp) before the procedure, then they put a needle in the back of my hand, last thing I remember, was the doc saying "how are you feeling?" then I woke up in the ward. No side effects, a little blood in urine, which stopped today, and feel a bit tender down there.
Results on 12th July.....fingers crossed yeah
Regards Mal.

Hi Mal,

I hope the best for you too, maybe the biopsy will be a big fat "0" in which case you'll have cause for celebration, and peace of mine too. I wish the doctor had knocked me out, but all I got was the Lidocane. That may have been the longest 15 minutes I can ever recall. Good luck, and please keep us posted.

Diagnosed at age 60
PSA went from 2.2 to 3.8 in 14 months
2 of 14 cores positive at 10%
Gleason 6(3+3), negative DRE, neg. boundaries
