Was able to bring Larry home from hospital yesterday - on his 58th birthday.  Coumadin level was at 2.0.  Will have it checked again on Monday.  He is still experiencing pain in the leg with the clot, but doctor said that could continue for up to three weeks.  Still has catheter.  Has had some blood coming through and urologist does not want to remove until 24 hours of normal colored urine.  Larry is about to think he is going to have "hang man" with him the rest of his life:)

Thanks for all your support and prayers.  We are going to "lick" this one day at a time.

Happy Birthday and Welcome Home  Special warm hugs to both of you!   Your path has been a little too rocky so we are hopefully going to see the path smooth out now. Yes ~ One - Day - At - A - Time …. Mr. Hang is doing an important job… so hang with him a little longer. Hugs have a few extra squeezes…. In Friendship ~ Lee & Buddy

Hello Larry & Wife,

I hope you had as Happy a 58th Birthday as possible, but at least you all are home. You are right about getting better one day at a time. Just a small victory every day adds up to a total recovery. Now at least you'll have home cooking, and your own bed to sleep in. I pray the recovery moves smoothly from this day forward.

Best wishes to you both,

Glen

Happy birthday Larry. I am sure being able to celebrate at home is a lot better than at the hospital. The cath is bad but mine is becoming a distant memory. Hope the best for you and know you will continue to get better.
