Hi all! yeah yeah

As many of our friends on this forum know we've been vacationing in northern Ontario since early July, camping with our daughter, son-in-law and our two grandkids Joshua 7 and Kaylee 4 1/2, while awaiting the arrival of the third little one who "was" due Aug 25th.

Our daughter virtually went from campground to hospital the evening of August 7th at 8PM and welcomed the arrival of her third child at 1:30 AM with Daddy and weepy grandma present. . . . .WHOO HOOO what a thrill!!  The miracle of life . . makes you realize the stones along life's way are all worth it when a moment like this is experienced.

Logan Robert weighed in at 8lbs 11 oz and is 19.75 inches long.  He has a full head of fluffy inch long hair and is a hefty weight being 3 weeks early.  Considering #1 baby was 11 lbs, we are thankful this one came early.

We are all thrilled and will be staying here until early September.  Days are spent helping out at the house and nights in our RV with both or whichever grandchild chooses to spend the night.

Hope all are well in the forum.  Now that we have more regular internet access, we'll be around a bit more regular, but not totally until September.

Nice going, Linda and Bob.

I hear that the grandparent business is a good one to be in :-)

You can spoil them and send them back to their parents when the get cranky!

Congrats!

Thanks to all for your kind comments.  How true . . .very little else compares with grandkids . . . . having all three of ours 2000 miles away from us causes this grandma many hours of loneliness, but our rather long visits when we do visit more than compensate.  Mom and the 3 little ones are due to fly out west to visit immediately after Christmas for 2 weeks, so at least we have that to look forward to when our visit this time is done. . . .Then for the long drive home . . . . .

Thanks again!!

Linda, that is just wonderful. At this very moment my 10 month old grandson (and namesake) is in the living room being cute. We should be grandparents first.

Linda,

How wonderful for all of you - especially that precious baby to be born into a family that loves him so!

Bill - you are so right about being grandparents first...now that's the truth!
