Hello.  I am new to the forum and apologize if I am asking a question already discussed (I didn't see anything in my search).  My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer about one year ago.  He underwent radiation treatments, and his last PSA was about 1.  Recently, he has had blood in his urine.  about one month ago, the doctor thought it was a bladder infection, gave him some medication and it cleared up within a few days.  Today, there is again blood in his urine.  Anyone gone through this???  He has an apt with an urologist scheduled, but I'm anxious!

See if this site gives you some relief, I got it from a post above yours. Don't worry over what might not be. He is going to urologist and that is the best thing he could do. Blood in the urine can be caused by a number of differant things so again do not jump to any conclusions. Good Luck!!
