During the course of my recent diagnosis, research and surgery I developed an informal personal support network consisting of friends who are themselves survivors. As a result, I am researching the formation of a more formalized face-to-face support network to help educate and support those who will surely follow from this area. The only such networks I have found on the web have been affiliated with the international organization Us TOO ( or the Man to Man/Side by Side chapters sponsored by ACS.  I would be interested in comments - pro and/or con - that participants here may have with either of these face-to-face support organizations.

You might try asking your doctor. I know we get a newsletter that lists a local meeting about once a month through where Ken got treatment. One or another doctor is a featured speaker.

I am not familiar with the organizations you list, and haven't attended the one's listed in the newsletter, either, but might be a place to look.
