I went yesterday for my 5 month checkup...My doctor said I was doing well and that I should expect my PSA to be around 2...I got results today and it was down to 2.4!!!  In May a month after finishing IMRT it had dropped from 7.2 to 5.8.  He doesn't need to see me again for 4 months!  Heading to DC Friday for more interviews...Thanks everyone for your prayers!  Hope you all are doing well!  Trey

PI present in 3 of 6 cores
Completed 42 IMRT treatments on April 20, 2007
appointment 5/30/07 for PSA indicated a drop from 7.2 to 5.8

PSA: First ever was 9.8 in late Oct. ‘06, two weeks later, 10.1

DRE: Negative

Biopsy results 11/22/06.  Both lobes involved.  Six out of eight cores positive - from 100 percent to 90, to 60, to 50, two 20s and two zeros.

Gleason 3+3 = 6

Da Vinci Robotic RP surgery, City of Hope, Jan 12, 2007

Post surgery pathology – Organ confined, Gleason still 6, margins clear.  Volume of tumor much less than biopsy suggested.  12 percent overall.

First post-surgery PSA -- Undetectable, 2/20/07

Second post-surgery PSA -- Undetectable, 9/11/07

thanks Lee and Buddy and everyone who posted to my report!!!! You can't imagine how good it makes me feel to know that people care! I'm in VA, interview went well today, flying back to Alabama tomorrow. Probably won't know for 2 or 3 weeks about the job...and congrats War Eagle for the huge win last Saturday!!! ROLL TIDE!!!!

It's good to see another Bama voice in here. Sorry about Saturday. Hey, it's only football. We're playing a much bigger game. It does help keep your mind off of it, though. What part of "sweet home Alabama" are you in? I'm in Trussville. Glad the interview went well.

Age 73. Diagnosed 11/03/06. PSA 7.05. Stage T2C Gleason 3+3.
RRP 12/7/06. Nerves and nodes okay.
Pathological stage: T2C. Gleason 3+4. Cancer confined to prostate.
PSAs from  1/3/07 - 7/18/07 0.00. 
T level on 4/2/07 - 48     On 7/16/07 - 613
Started Tri-Mix on 8/7/07.  .02 ml and 50 mg Viagra.  It works!!!
Next PSA and T tests on 10/17/07

Trey - that is wonderful news! it's a great feeling to have those numbers go down...down....down. where in VA are you interviewing? DC is a crazy, busy area!

9/1/07 - achieved erection with Viagra - no pump!
