Oh yes, I understand that the recovery period may be a little longer since they opened me up, but no one has given an estimate. Anyone have any experience with this?
gtm, good to see ya posting again. I was opened up the 24th. The rcovery seems to closely match your, including the chills and fever and othr things. I felt pretty god when I came home, and for the first few days. I got a fever later, which makes my recovery sound worse than it was. I was painfree in 3 to 4 days, the sharp soreness was gone in another day or so. A week after, I didn't really have any pains or soreness, except for a tightness in the abdomen, which ease with exercise. Give it a week and yo should be back. The incision will heal quickly, should be sealed and scabbing off in 10 days or so. The key is to walk and climb. forget retning the movies, get outside and walk, as much as popssible, as often as possible. Fall is here and nows the time for walking, admiring the leaves changing and holding hands. lol I'd guess that wil walking your extra fast stage of recovery will start today or so, it's been 5 days now, so things should turn the corner quick. Go get 'em
