I had my first PSA test and checkup since catheter removal today, 7 weeks and 3 days after surgery. I was pleased to report to the Urologist/surgeon that I was fully continent at (well, except for 3 times that the I missed the body's call to wake up and pee. eyes I've actually been continent since about 2 weeks after catheter removal).  He was pleased to tell me I had healed completely and could resume any activity I wished, and that my PSA was 0.01.  So we both gave and got good news... :-) He wrote a prescription for a vacuum pump, another one for more Viagra and said to commence in earnest to regain function. yeah
