Interesting that not long ago I started a thread on here, asking those who were using injections why they were doing so.  I'd had enough success with the pump that I figured "why mess with success".  Well, this week I had my third surgical follow-up and second post-surgery PSA.  What do you know but when I told the nurse practitioner that I was getting not results with Cialis she asked if I'd like to try Muse or the tri-mix injections.  I signed up for the  injections.

First injection in the office was "10", whatever that means.  Modest response.  The nurse-practitioner suggested I start with maintenance doses of 10 and "get lucky" injection amounts of "20" and showed me where that is on the syringe.  Was planning on trying my first "at home" injection last night but decided against it.  Now I'm looking forward with anticipation to the experience, though last night I was reading about someone who had an uncomfortable four and a half hour erection after a "20" injecction.

So, it makes me wonder what amounts of trimix you all are using.  Also, does the amount required correspond to factors such as body mass or age?  I'm 54, weight about 190 lbs.

Oh, also, how deep do you insert the  needle?  All the way to the bottom of the syringe?

Thanks for any info you  can share...

Hi there - We'd recommend only going up 5 at a time. If you were "moderate" at 10, 20 may very well be too much . . . . 15 would be a suggested next dose. Our urologist suggested increments of 5 to a maximum of 50. So far 30 is as high as we've tried and it produced an uncomfortable result. Bob says he injects the needle all the way in, but pulls it back only a tiny bit when injecting. Bob is 6 foot 2 inches and around 220.

Good luck!

Hey Naimnut,

I take 50 mg Viagra about 2 -3 hours before the injection then use .03 - .05 cc of Trimix. I found that .10 cc was way too much and caused a 5 1/2 hour erection and lots of pain. It works best for me if I wait about 30 min. before starting foreplay then it stays up for about an hour. I use a .5 cc diabetic syringe with a 31 gauge 5/16 inch needle. Like Bob I push it all the way in the draw out just a little bit. That makes the injection run much smoother. It works every time. 5 cc of Trimix costs $75 so I could get 100 shots from a vial but it always expires before I use that much. As the medicine gets older, it loses some strength and I have to increase the dose about .02 cc. It still works but is not as predictable as a new vial. I rub the injection spot for a couple of minutes after the injection and have had no lumps or curvature.

Trimix really works good but you have to make sure you do the inection correctly every time and start with a low dose and work up. Everlasting rock-hard boners are no fun.

Good luck...

Jim
