WOW!!!

PSA - 0.1 - undetectable again and we are so happy about that! See - tongue - whew!

Everyone who goes through this knows the apprehension...the vitals have been taken, maybe you talk to the nurse for an update on how you're feeling, then you wait for the doc to come in. Don & I kid a bit, go over any questions we have one more time and wait that 5 minutes that seems like 30. The doctor gave us the results quickly - he must've seen "that look" on our faces! All our questions were answered, Don got his Lupron shot and we were on our way. Believe me, it didn't take long to whip out our cell phones and call our family!

Thank you so very much for all your good thoughts and kind words,
Don & Susan

Way to go you two! Such good news! We know well that "feeling" while waiting to hear the news . . .even if you are sure it'll be good, nothing beats hearing it from the doctor directly.

Susan & Don,

"Kind words" alone don't do justice for all of your help and concern here.

It is good to hear from you and your good news encourages us all!

Thanks.

The best news! It's so hard to wait those few days between the test and getting the results. You know those very important Zeros are sitting on someone's desk or in a computer report and you just want to yank them out of there!

A triple "Whew" from us!

How kind you all are - Don & I appreciate your well wishes and support.

I think of you at different times during the day and hope your lives are getting on. That there is a place for happiness and joy in the midst of this cancer. That somehow we can find the strength to control what we can and know it's okay to let go at times. And to share it here. I believe it's the best we can do.

My husbabd had 12 of 12 positive, small prostate, Gleason 3plus 5 pre surgery 4 plus 3 after surgery
PSA 6.9 presurgery, 4.9 after surgery in July 07. First Lupron brought PSA to 1.0 after 30 days, second Lupron brought it to <0.1 after 90 days. He has dull pain since the surgery but had a hernia repair and they think it might be the patch.
I am a wreck...tell me there is hope. Today I cannot stop crying !!
