Best wishes in your RT! I know there are a few links with great feedback regarding RT following RP.  A few of the guys in here have had it and shared their experiences.  I am not sure the links, but I know that I have read a few..my dad will probably start his RT in a couple of months once he has recovered a little more from surgery.

I had robotic surgery 4/10/07 post surgery PSA .28, 37 radiation treatments started 09/06/07 ended 10/26/07

The only problem I had from the radiation was a sore rectum at times suppositories helped, no other side effects ,was able to work ,run and do everything I did before treatments.

I had the treatments in my home town so there was no travel burden for me. Each treatment lasted about 20 minutes or so most of which was set up time, any more questions, mleb496906@aol.com

Maldugs,

Tony's thread is very good...long story short:

1. Walk/ exercise a lot
2. about half way thru I could tell I was getting more tired at night
3. I had SOME bowel/rectal problems--- doc gave me stuff and it helped
4. I had some uinary discomefort---doc gave me stuff and it helped
5. Some stess incontinece a year later---not bad---do Kegels!
6. Post-radiation has a pretty good curative record--- CURE is the goal!
7. GOOD LUCK--- a manageable treatment!
