Hi,

Just a quick note to let you know that my order of SILDENAFIL was stopped by Canada Customs and apparently shipped back to AllDayChemist. Canada Customs told me in a 2 page letter that importing this drug is not permitted and that I should get a doctors prescription and buy the stuff in Canada (at $12.00/pill !! )  :-(. Are there any Canadians here that had a similar experience?

My understanding is that unlike Cialis, Viagra did not obtain an injunction against imports of generic substitutes. I suppose the interdict could result from the lack of the physician-signed prescription, but that never caused a problem in the past. I need to renew my supply shortly. I'll advise if I have a problem. Anyone else experience any difficulty??

Cialis seems to be the only ed DRUG that is improving blood flow, but the US price is out of sight. I guess ALLDAYCHEMIST no longer ships to the US?

I've read in my research when first ordering from alldaychemists that a small percentage of its shipments to the US is intercepted, resulting in a long letter from Customs, telling you that you must file such and such forms, etc.  to recieve this otherwise illegal to receive package.  I don't know what Customs does with the package, but it seems that if you report the package as not received, alldaychemist will ship another one, usually for the cost of shipping, which is 24.95.  Since we (US people) know what we are doing is illegal, the cost of shipping again is one of the prices we pay to work around the law.  I don't think the Canadian package was stopped because of faulty prescription, more probably because of the lack of payment of Custom duties, taxes and such.

I hope this dosen't become a problem in the future.  My last order from All Day Chemist was shipped quickly and delivered on time.

I find it interesting that Canadian customs was the bad guy here.  I also buy a Rx (allergy)from a Canadian mail order pharmacy.

It makes me mad to be abused by the pharmaceutical giants with the help of our own governments.

Friends,

From what has been said here before, U.S. Customs only stops Cialis as theCialis manufacturer defended their patent.

IT IS NOT working "around the law" to order sildenafil citrate.
If it were, the Viagra manufacturers could stop it very easily.

As for Canadian Customs and Viagra, let's hope Swim is correct and AllDay will reship and it will go through!  Maybe the RCM thought it was Cialis.....

The insurance companies' idea that this medication is optional for the PC patient is insulting....

Cedar Chopper, from what I read and understand, the objections are from the FDA for importing "nonapproved drugs" rather than any patent violation.  I do know there's been several instances in the past year that the shipment from India was blocked, resulting in a long letter informing the buyer how they could reclaim their shipment.  It always seemed to involve the larger shipment of 240 or 500 tablets, which requires a larger 'bale' appearing package, distinctive in appearance and identifiable as soley from alldaychemist.  These mini-bales are wrapped in very different material, and stand out as distinct in a stream of packages flowing by on a conveyor or however the import shipments are handled upon arrival in the US ports.  Recovery instructions mainly involved filing numerous forms, exeptions, etc., which would never be approved if they were submitted.  As to the legality, it is illegal to import through the mail or any other means FDA non-approved drugs, whether Sildenafil Citrate  from India or other drugs from other countries.  So there is a risk when buying, however slight, of loss of product, which will be most likely replaced by alldaychemist for the cost of shipping again, but I haven't heard of anyone being approached, arrested or prosecuted.  They seem to be satisfied to interrupt the stream, maybe for private use?  lol  I don't have time to dig up sources now, but the info is out there, if you wish to search.

Thanks James,

I do believe the bureaucracy will kick in occasionally - on the pretext of FDA
     - or maybe just looking busy when their boss is looking.....
I also understand that AllDay will reship or give a prompt refund.

I got one of those (cloth covered) bales with no problem.
This quantity brings the price down for 100mg to less than 60 cents with shipping.
So maybe receiving one of these packages gives an additional meaning to
  - "getting lucky...."  eyes

Maybe they are just having mercy on those of us whose recovery would be delayed years when we refused the $12+ a day prescription.....?

I suspect it is something similar to the Canadian Drugs that they let through.
Some degree of mercy and bureaucracies and the path of least resistance maybe?

Thanks again for the information as we will want to create the correct expectations
for newbies as we recommend this source.
Saving maybe $4000 on a year's supply is worth the hassle for most of us!

Sincerely,

Hi Guys,

Each of the 3-4 times we've ordered from allday, they've shipped the orders in at least 2 seperate packages, post marked on 2 different days. The cloth covered boxes were handled the same as the bubble envelopes. I've spoken to the folks there once about shipping. He said then that if anything gets returne or hung up, I would receive notice and a new shipment ASAP. Per another member on another forum, that is just what allday (name in small letters on purpose) did when one of his packages got hung up. Just gotta take em on their word for now I guess.

Hi ,

To further elaborate on my original post, my order consisted of 30+30 100mg Sildenafil pills. So, not an elaborate amount. The "Report of Examination for Customs Entry", clearly identified the shipment as Sildenafil. AllDayChemist has advised me that they have re-shipped the order, but did not ask for additional funds. I will, however, compensate them for their shipping cost when and if I receive the replacement order. One would think that Canada Customs has better things to do than harass cancer patience trying to get affordable medication for personal use. Will report further if and when I receive the 2nd order.

Take care all and thanks for your replies.

Hello and a Merry Christmas to all,

Just a quick follow up on my original post. Today I've received the goods from AllDay in excellent condition and it took only about 10 days (which I figure is pretty darn good considering the holyday rush). I am very pleased with the way they handled the situation and with their prompt and courteous communications. I would not hesitate to do business with them in the future. Now, if we could only do away with the Canadian Customs services :-) .

Have a wonderful holiday season everyone and a health, happy and prosperous 2008.
