I took my first 100 mg Viagra tablet yesterday and experienced the "blue vision" side effect. I am supposed to take one tablet every other day for the first month. I thought that I would call my doctor tomorrow to make sure that I should continue as prescribed.

Has anyone else experienced the "blue vision". If so, does it get better over time, or should I just expect to have to deal with it? I read somewhere online that 11% of men taking 100mg experience the blue vision.

Thanks for your help.

Does happen but not harmful from what I have heard. Good questions. No particular answers to the how long thing though. We have a friend who has the same issue and says it's better when he uses Levitra. I'll have to ask if he still sees blue these days.

I haven't experienced it, but this seems to be a common and harmless side effect.  The only effect I feel is the flush face feeling, and once an elevated blood pressure for a couple hours.

100 is far to large for many people. 25 is a better dose to start on to see how it goes.

Cut them into 2 or 4 pieces.

The first few times I used a 100mg I did get a headache.  But now I do not seem to.  I still take a 50mg (a100mg pill cut in half) every other day.  I use the alldaychemest generic and they do not seem to cut into quarters too easy that is why I take a 50mg.

I would still check with your Dr.

I checked with the doctor today, and he changed the dosage to 50mg. I took one earlier and have not have the blue vision reaction.
