I'm still on the front side of the learning curve regarding all the ramifications of prostate cancer.  I've always believed I've had good health insurance (and still do) but alas I was surprised to find out that our insurance contract does not cover ED prescriptions for ANY REASON.  With Levitra costing about $15 per pill this is going to get expensive fast.
My question pertains to anyone's experience with the generic alternatives to Levitra and Viagra.  I'm sure I'm not the only one who has seen these awful stories regarding poor manufacturing practices and shoddy materials used by some foreign-based manufacturers of generic drugs.  It is with some trepidation that I pursue generic alternatives.
Based on experience/dealings with certain companies can anyone make any suggestions as to a supplier and the efficacy of said generics?

Many of us here are just a little put out with the high cost of the ED medications. Here in Canada, London Drugs, for example, charge around $129.00 to fill a prescription for 10 Viagra pills (100mg). So, quite a few of us are using a web based site that supplies SILDENAFIL (same as Viagra without the name) for about $1.00/pill or less (including shipping). I found their service to be professional, prompt and friendly.
Their web site is 'AllDayChemist'. If you do a search you will easily find it. You can find several comments about the supplier here at this forum.
Best wishes with your recovery. Have a great holiday season.

Posted 12/13/2007 2:09 PM (GMT -6)  They have safe, effective, approved in almost all parts of the world generic Viagra, 2 for one deals (50 cents each pill) in various quantities, secure credit card transactions, $24.95 shipping direct from India.  Occassionaly a shipment gets caught in Customs, but AllDayChemist will gladly reship your order.  Some people say their generic is a little stronger than Viagra.  They also ship generic Levetra at a higher per pill price.

This seems to be the cheapest and safest quality shop around.
