I jumped over here from the ostomy site. I had to have a permanent ileostomy due to a severe gut injury in 2006. Lucky to be alive.
So far, all good in general. BUT this month I had 3 stomal food blockages (OR could be slow down of "output"...eqivalent to most people's pooing) Am having my stoma checked out. CT scan all good.
BUT after I eat wheat as in chocolate brownie or sometimes even a bun, I get sooooo bloated I look 6 months pregnant. THEn in the a.m. I feel nauseous until about noon. No other issues that I know of and food seems to trigger this. I am much flatter abdomen wise in the a.m.
I have also been tested for celiac and am awaiting results. ANyone here have that SEVERE bloat from a food allergy. Not really need this on top of having an ostomy but at least I will know what it is. Also always tired and dizzy and feel brain fog. Not fun. Rosemary
