Cyrex labs ? anyone familiar ?

Hello everyone . I am wondering if anyone in this forum has heard of Cyrex Labs for Gluten Sensitivity testing ? Here is a link to it http://www.cyrexlabs.com/

, it was mentioned and referred to as the "gold standard of gluten testing by Nora somebody that writes books and is very popular . Any opinions or info would be helpful . Thankyou

Sorry never heard of it? Is it in the U.S.? I know there is a lab called Igenex I've seen on here but it pretty much whoever the insurance pays for in my testing life. If you can afford it, have at it, but it really is alot easier to just do the elimination diet; stop eating everything that contains gluten/wheat/dairy for 30 days, then start adding them back in 1 at a time. Oh and some people keep a symptom journal for their Dr.'s This can be especially helpful because most Food Allergies are diagnosed by patient history, not tests. I hope this helps and let us know how its going, we all grow with each other's experience.

I have used Cyrex Labs tests several times. Both with my certified nutritionist as well as my doctor. They are legit. They are cutting edge technology and the best researchers in the field. I have asked numerous doctors and they all say the same thing: they are legit and their science is very sound.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get tested by them. I found the test results extremely useful in managing my cross reactivities to various foods. They Cyrex tests confirmed I react highly to gluten, but also told me I react to corn, potato, and rice as well. This was extremely useful info for determining my diet going forward.
