I felt "Better" about 3 days in.. I didn't have the big "D" and most of the cramping had subsided. I am 4 months in. I feel so much better now. Waiting for the "Brain Fog" to clear and get my energy levels back up but other than that. I guess because of the lack of vitamins and minerals it's ...time, it takes time for your Villi to heal and to start absorbing vitamins. Good luck

Yes, the time depends on the damage to your intestines and how diligent you are with the diet. You also want to look out for other food allergies, I have an allergy to wheat and dairy as well as gluten, wheat gives me an all over rash and dairy causes gas and D. Hope this helps and I'm sure you will get others replies, welcome to HW.

I have a problem with corn now! I did have a problem with Dairy at 1st, I think I am past that now. I wonder if the corn intolerance will ever go away?
