Hi everyone. I am very confused at present. I had non-specific chronic inflammation in small intestine. My chron's test came negative and so as celiac blood test. But in biopsy it shows "non-specific chronic inflammation in intestinal mucosa ".

Also I had vitamin b12, vitamin d and iron deficiency. I had injections for b12, iron infusions and vitamin d supplement.

I am gluten free from last two and half months but symptoms doesn't seem to be improving. As I also live in India(tropic), so I thought about tropical sprue.

If anyone know about this then please reply. I really need it.

Welcome to the forum, yash.

Were you gluten-free before the endoscopy? That would make the results invalid and you'd have to go on gluten again for a couple of months and do it again.

Have you been treated with antibiotics? That seems, according to Wikipedia (which isn't the greatest source) to be standard treatment.

You have very good doctors in India. I'm glad they are giving you the supplements.

If you are having trouble with diarrhea you might ask to try Colestipol (a cholestyramine). Demand the sprinkle or powder packets, not the huge horse pill. Sprinkle it on applesauce. Don't take at the same time as the vitamins.
