Hi!

My doctor just called and the blood test showed three strong markers on Gluten intolerance.

I just wonder if one can get a pair of blisters because of Celiac? They itch really bad if touched! Or is this the Dermatitis? One alone on the right arm and two on the belly.

And do you guys drink regular beer? I really like non alcoholic beer on evenings.
Thanks!

I have mostly had GF beer since adopting a GF diet. I did try some home brew this summer and it went fine (I had about 2 oz). Then I went to a pub and had a pint of a lovely ale and had diarrhea the next day. So, back to GF beer for me.

I fill in the big picture:

I got a the classic bullseye rash known in Lyme Disease for more than a year ago but did not saw any tick. Anyway i have treating it with a lot of mixes of antibiotics and follow the guides on ILADS.

And every time after about three weeks the fever and flue symptoms attacks me like a wave.

I have done blood test and they showed markers on Gluten antibodies. Well thats a clue but when doing gluten free diet for a week the same illness appears and push me all down again.

Do you know of any gluten-mix illness with the fever?
All "regular" gluten intolerant people talks about the other problems like diarrhea and stomach pain.

Thanks

Hi,
If you've noticed that you react badly to gluten and have diarrhea, stomach upset, abdominal pain, and bloating, consult a doctor to get tested for celiac disease. I have read also about Gluten-Free Alcoholic Beverages. I don't have any idea of gluten-mix illness with the fever but I hope you're fine.

I personally don't think going gluten-free for one week is long enough to tell if that is the problem.

Do you mean diagnosis of celiacs, gluten sensitivity or wheat allergies, theres a difference. Skin blisters of celiacs or gluten sensitivity is called Dermatitis herpitiformis.
