So I have had celiac disease since I was a kid..
I have been gluten free for a long time. Within the last year, I have developed twitching of my muscles and my fingers/toes sometimes twitch as well. Is anyone else having this?

I had a CBC done to check my vitamins/minerals in my blood.. Everything came back normal. A few other forums said to use vitamin B12 which I have been doing for about a month. Any other suggestions?

If your vitamin B12 levels are normal, vit b12 supplements will not likely help, especially not in twitching.

Twitching can be caused by low or high calcium levels, but I suppose this was excluded by tests...?

Twitching can be caused by stress, exercise, lack of sleep, caffeine, certain drugs...

Hi there!
I have celiac too and I have muscle jerking but mainly at nite trying ro sleep. I have found that dairy sets mine off. If I stay away from dairy, I hardly have it unless I get too much medication. U can try it! Its worth it. Sherry b.
