As for many of you here, it's a cry for help. Today I heard from yet another doctor "you should seek the second opinion". 3 years of gluten-free diet, probing elimination of other foods, unexplainable weight gains and weight loss (but mostly weight gain), extreme (think 8 months pregnant) bloating frequently even after drinking plain water, gas, fatigue, extreme hunger that never gets fulfilled, and the worst of all feeling hopeless....

What do I do next? So much money has already been spent on tests, biopsies, medications... Trying to maintain decent shape is impossible. Enjoying life has become increasingly difficult.

I am hoping there's someone out there who's been through similar stuff and found cure or something to turn this around. Please ping me if that's the case. I'm losing it...

After three years, you should have improved by now. Are you sure you are actually gluten free? Do you ever eat out? Are your medications and supplements gluten free? Do you eat GF processed foods? How much? Have you had follow-up antibody testing to see if you are diet compliant?

Have you had gastrointestinal testing?? Endoscopy..etc?? Also, do you have any other symptoms like overall muscle and joint pain? Fibromyalgia patients do have some of your same symptoms.

Have you read Wheat Belly? Not the first one but the one called Total Health. The author touches on some really interesting things such as intolerance to ALL grains and even sugar. He also talks about gut health and the importance of the guts microbiome. It really helped me with my gas and bloating and even the weight issues.
Diagnosed with Borrelia Oct 2016 through iSpot Lyme blood test, suspect Bartonella as well.

i was diagnosed with celiac at the start of the year and it took me about 6 months for my stools to return to normal , i still suffer with fatigue but it wasn't till i figured out that corn and soy also make me react even the tiny amount of corn starch in my medication makes me sick not diarrhea but the almost dream state that i go in when i ingest something that has a reaction . Make your diet as simple as possible , all i eat is meat rice and vegies' i don't even use the cutlery or plates pots n pans etc in my house that everyone else uses i have my own and i wash them with my own sponges lol , hang in there it could be one tiny thing that is making you feel this way .
