Hi All!
I'm Traveler & I live with Hashimotos' Thyroiditis, among many other things.
I look forward to 'talking' with others, as I am having trouble with my thyroid again (at least I think it's my thyroid!)
rolleyes
I have NO desire to have it removed, as I have already hd my appendix & gall bladder removed. I feel like I'm running out of parts for them to take out!!! shocked

I hope you are having a good day.

I had Hashi's too, but had no symptoms except a large thyroid. The Hashi's got dx'ed when we evaluated the large thryoid and found nodules. Turns out the nodule was cancer so the thryoid had to come out regardless....I guess I lived with Hashi's for years and had no idea.

So nice to meet you, Sapoos & Tavish!
I hope to learn a lot here!! I have issues with comprehension & retaining what I read/hear, as I have the 'privledge' of having a Lyme Disease infection in my brain, as well as many other systems in my body. eyes
I have only recently been dxed with Hashi's & am trying to learn all I can, so that I can better understand my tx options.
So far, my doc has only 'briefed' me on this conditions, as we are still trying to battle the LD. & the co-infections. Although I fear my thyroid has gotten to the point that I must have some sort of tx very soon for my thyroid.
At this point the only tx that my doc has mentioned is 'desoloving' (SP?) part of the thyroid. smhair shocked
Looking forward to learning from others.
