Hi I was diagnosed with multinodular goiter. All were fluid filled except one has some solid in it. Had ultrasounds 7 months apart. All goiters stayed the same size (small) but the one with the solid part grew a bit. I will have exact dimensions and will post again. The one with the solid part is a few millimeters bigger than 1 cm. It was recommended I have FNA (Fine needle aspiration) of that one goiter with local anesthetic. This sounds like it would hurt, but the doc is very nice and very experienced. I trust him. However, has anyone had this done? WHat did it feel like? Any bad repercussions?

Thanks, Rosemary

Hey, read about the FNB experience someone just posted. I'm sure both are the same. :)

You will be numbed so I imagine there will be no pain.

Hi Joy,

Thanks. I will look for that FNB post. I like your saying in red print; it's cute! Rosemary
