I went to my doctor today to ask him to run a thyroid levels test on me because I felt like they were off.
He couldn't see me so I saw his partner. His hard of hearing partner.

I started telling him about my new symptoms:

Face swelling

rash on face

dry skin

throat tight when I lift my head

grumpy

fatigue

His first statement to me is "So you're feeling sick today? You sound congested."

Duh! I just had to sit in his waiting room with all those perfumed people. I told him it was my allergies and tried to tell him I was okay in that department.

He proceeds to look in my ears, nose, throat, and listen to my lungs. They are all irritated from my allergies.

I keep telling him I'm not sick, that my thyroid is off and he basically ignores me.

So I just give up, take the perscriptions he gives me for ear infection and allergies, and leave.

I'm so frustrated!

I went to my allergist today for my six month checkup. I told him how I've been feeling and how I didn't know if it's allergy or thyroid problems. He checked me out, told me it was thyroid, and hooked me up with an endocrinologist.
The bad thing is I have to wait until August to see him. >:(

Such fun.
