I'm hypothyroid (diagnosed last year)
I did have GERD (diagnosed 10 yrs ago and had surgery for it last December)

I don't think the two are related. :I

Some migraines appear to be triggered by certain foods. Common offenders include alcohol, especially beer and red wine; aged cheeses; chocolate; aspartame; overuse of caffeine; monosodium glutamate — a key ingredient in some Asian foods; salty foods; and processed foods. Skipping meals or fasting also can trigger migraines.

I have been on PPI's for 5 or 6 years for bad gerd and now have goiters (5 lumps on Thyroid) plus Lipomas (one was big enough to have removed) and a ganglion on my wrist now.  Any one else having this many problems and on PPI's? Also I take Maxalt-MLT for migraines.

I have Hashimoto's, IBS, Celiac, and a hiatal hernia and other food allergies. I have no idea what the main issue is causing all this. What I've read about the thyroid is that it is a pretty stong link with your digestive system. Are you on any medication or taking herbal suppliments for you hypothyroidism?

Some foods that are supposed to soften the stool are prunes, apple juice, and Karo syrup.
