confused   Hi everyone I am new at this and not sure where to start. So I will just tell the whole story hopefully it's not to boring...LOL

I have back problems to start with L4 & 5 with small rip in L5 I have scoliosis of the spine and syatica in the right and some time left leg (hurt at work) this happened March 29 2000. Then I went to for my yearly internal and the Dr. found a large lump on my left side???????I have been suffering from depression badly over the years, even being put in hospital for up to 2 months. My husband couldnt take the changes and he left me, we lost our house cars etc..My children left as well along with most of my friends. Then I started having really bad headaches not a migrain, just this intense pain on the top of my head. My Dr told me she would keep an eye on it (that is her solution to everything it seems). Finally I was so sick one day with this headach I had my daughter bring me to the hospital, I had to be pretty sick to go to hospital. the triage nurse did the usual temp, blood pressure etc. then she left and came back with a different blood pressure machine. She then asked me if I was ok to walk to the sitting area, I replied yes?? I thing my butt touched the chair...LOL and there in front of me two nurses and a wheel chair. I asked for me l *&^% Grjuhyggg? surprised and yes they had the right person off we went. They brought me to Observation. I asked why, the reply really surprised me they informed me my blood pressure was 198/118 well I'm sure it went up then I was scared now, They ran some tests then came and asked me if I was on thyroid medication I was afraid to ask why, But I did. They then Informed me my THS level was at 11.60 and that was through the roof. I was examined and also told I have a goiter. I have been on meds since May of this year for thyroid but the Dr increases the dose after each blood test and although my blood pressure is lower it is still above 150/98 no lower and I have this pain under my right rib that keeps me up all night and I am told its from the blood pressure. The Dr mails me the lab sheets and new script the Dr taking caring for my blood pressure could care less and my health keeps getting worse. My husband had a heart attack while riding his motorcycle July 11 2009 and died at the age of 49 I am 47 raising my 9 year old grandaughter who has Asperger and depression and may also have FAS.My sister died two weeks ago from diabetes at the age of 52.It just keeps coming and I dont know why. I go to church I pray every night. No one has answers for me and you don't either I am sure. But thank you for being kind enough to read this large post, some times it's just nice to write my feelings.Maybe one day something good will happen.

Thank you

Shoot! If it's not one thing it's another! smhair

You have been put through the wringer, woman! mad

Okay, My first suggestion, kick that doctor to the curb! Find you a good doctor who cares for you. Cause, baby, you need some TLC! shocked

I know all this stress is terrible for your blood pressure. If you can find some "me time" to relax and find some peace of mind. Put granddaughter to bed early (8:30), grab some of your favorite music, chocolate, and rest in your recliner or your favorite spot.

Now tomorrow get ahold of a doctor's directory and search for a doctor who can help you better. As soon as you can go visit the doctor and lay out all your health problems and ask him/her if they can help you.
You may have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince, but it's out there. tongue

There is a good forum here for anxiety and depression run by my good friend Kitt. She is a wonderful woman and has large shoulders to lean on. turn

I'll still be here watching out for you and any questions about thyroid and anytime you need to vent. smhair

sad  Thank You

It is very hard to find a Dr here in Ottawa, Canada and I don't know where to start.

I have no energy period, I live in my P.J's and never go out only to get repeats on my meds...
