I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism almost a year ago while I was 1 month pregnant. After delivery I went slightly hyper, but now my Tsh is 32.9 and free t4 is .37. I had thyroid ultrasound last week, but no results yet. The ultrasound tech said the dr will either call me sometime this week or may just see me at my next scheduled appt. (this made it sound like that hopefully she didnt find anything alarming). I have all the normal hypothyroid issues but my jaw area and under my chin have started to ache lately. I wouldnt quite call it pain, but a steady ache. I felt for my lymph nodes, but I do not feel them enlarged. Before the ultrasound, my dr felt my neck and confirmed that my thyroid is definitely enlarged, but thats all I know for now. Im on Synthroid .25 right now, but obviously he will adjust that at my appt because now my TSH is really high. Im just so freaked about thyroid cancer and such. Maybe im getting these aches from anxiety from thinking about it so much. Is this a normal feeling?
