I know that one of the a rash on the face goes with Lupus but has any one ever had it with hypothyroid?

I woke this morning with a rash that looks like it could be from Lupus so I'm just wondering.......

Thanks

I get an occasional rash along my hairline...
I don't know if it's related or not. I do have allergies.

um, I was recently dx with Autoimmune hypothyroid. I have the typical Lupus rash across my face. I was told at first that it was Lupus but now all the drs have decided (with blood work) that its my thyroid failing. The are doing a LP to once and for all rule out Lupus but they are not sure yet why I have the red rash. Sorry that wasn't much help but I have it too.

There is so much that is unknown and I wonder how many of these really over lap. Everyday there seems to be some thing new. I get so tired of trying to figure out what's going on and what to do next. I just want to feel better.

I bought a book that really helps me with my questions about my thyroid...Thyroid for Dummies.
It's helped so much in answering every question I had. Maybe you should buy it?
