Maybe someone can answer me this question or Not,   My Sister inlaw is in a Trauma Unit in Critical Condtion at this this time she needs help with breathing and has a feeding tube in her mouth.  Not nowing how important a body is which is your thyroid, and we found out that she stopped take her pills about a yr ago.    Her Platletts count is down to about 8,  and not doing good at all.  Just needed to vent thanks if anyone can shine the light on this sad subject.

Thanks for your replay, I never realized that your Thyroid is a major part of your body, and once you stop taking meds can harm other parts of your body. Right now my sister in law her Kidneys are going if she makes it will need dialises for the rest of her life, and right now taking just one step at a time.
