My physician had me undergo a physical and blood work. The blood work consisted of a TSH test. I strongly suspect hypothyroidism despite my TSH of 3.0 (.38 to 5.5). My eyebrows are thinning dry mouth, and considerable weight gain. Previously, I was always quite stressed andhyper but now I am relatively calm. Now,  it would take a lot for me to be fatigued.

I am thinking of going to a private lab at my own expense and getting extra blood work done to determine if I have low thyroid which I suspect. I am thinking of getting a FT3 (free T3) and RT3 (reverse T3). Will this be enough? I dont want to spend any more than I have to.

Thanks
