I have been hypothyroid for two months my endocrine said might be silent thyroiditis couple of days pulse has been 68 bpm more resently when i wake up it's around 85bpm and sometimes in the afternoon 95bpm, could this be an anxiety issue or could I be getting hyperthyroid symptoms again and what is a normal hypo pulse?

Newpatient, it really depends on your "normal" heart rate before you had thyroid problems. For example, my normal when my thyroid is balanced is about 58-65. When I was extremely hyperthyroid it was 120, when I was extremely hypothyroid it was in the high 40's. My "normal" pulse freaks out nurses who don't know me.

Increase in thyroxine in your system will increase your heart rate; so will anxiety. Try to sit quietly and breathe deeply for a few minutes before taking your pulse. And be aware of other hyperthyroid symptoms if you experience them.

So Leothyoxime medication should help resolve some hypo symptoms and should I stay away from sleep medication like seroquel if not started Thryroid replacement?

Results from the endocrinologist are back for TSH, T4 and T3's being within ranges. Still having symptoms of Hyper, Think I might have a UTI in the kidneys.
cause of home test showing traces of keytones. going to the Urinologist today hope he can shed some light on what's going on. Stay informed.
