Hi,   I have not been diagnosed with meniere's disease, but have some of the pre conditions to it and wanted to know if anyone else knew anything about this disease.  A year ago I started haveing trouble with dizziness.  It lasted for 2 to 3 weeks.   Al though I am not dizzy now there are times when I feel like my equilibrium is off.  Trying to figure the whole thing out and see if there is something I can take to help with this ailment.  Thanks for your imput

Hello, Swannest, and welcome.

My husband had Meniere's Syndrome and he suffered very much with it: vertigo, almost to the point of its being disabling.

I would suggest that you see a doctor and request an MRI or CAT scan to make sure that the blood vessels are okay in the brain. My husband's age had something to do with it, I think. He was in his sixties when it became serious.

For my husband, the cause was a mild hemorrhage and then later a massive brain hemorrhage that took his life. It's best to make certain that things are okay for you, and I feel sure there is medication that can be used to help.

Please find out the cause and help available for the illness.

Good wishes,
