Hi I am new to this board but not to healig well.  I am usually on the lyme forum as I have lyme for years.  I have recently presented with a neuropathy pain, severe in one arm, and now starting on the other arm and both legs.  I have done an abundance of research and find that thyroid problems can cause neuropathies.  As I don't seem to be having any other lyme symptoms and feel great otherwise, I am wondering if the neuropathies could be thyroid related.

I have a history of thyroid disease.  I had grave's disease 13 years ago and then when searching for the lyme diagnosis, an endocrinologist said I had mild hashimotos.  Of course I neglected to tell the neurologist this and will of course call and ask if they can include thyroid testing in my script but just wondering

anyone else have this type of pain from thyroid???  Thank you so much.

Yes, I was not taking enough thyroid for a year and a half and got peripheral neuropathy from that. When the tingling symptoms first started, the first thing my doctor did was test my thyroid levels. I've been using Neuropathy Support Formula and that has lessened my pain. I'm just about to start also trying Naturasil Neuropathy Rub. I'm hoping that will provide further relief.
