Hi Penngurl,

Sorry I took so long to get back to you, I have been off the forums for a while. Can you
refresh my memory, I have read so many books. Which thread are you referring to? Besides
diet are you doing anything else to treat the candida? How is your UC and how are you
feeling?

hi maggiemay , funny even I forgot the book ... It was a book about thyroid and yeast connection. I'm in remission with the UC now. and currently on levoxyl , I just started it like a wk ago 25mcg.to tret hashimotos thyroid. doc thinks that's why my periods are messed up, arthritis, lethargy and hives are due to. I'm thinking it could be a yeast infection I had since I was a teen. on strict anti candida diet. right now I feel departed and losing my mind I thinks it's the thyroid messing me up, because with the colitis I was upset but not getting anxiety depression etc.

So glad to hear you are in remission. I will go through my books and see if I can figure out
which one and will get back to you. That's too bad about the levoxyl, did you tell your
doctor how it is affecting you? HE is right, hypothyroidism can cause menstrual problems,
arthritis, lethargy and hives not to mention depression. I know I feel much better on ARmour
than when I was on levoxyl. Not sure if that would help you.

I mentioned armour but she said its not standard treatment. thyroid disease affects every organ it's very depressing.
