Hi,
It is very possible that you need to adjust your dose properly for you.
Which thyroid medicine do you take? and what dose for how long?
Since you have no thyroid gland, you will be totally dependent on the medicine.
Do you have the test results from the ER? if yes post them here with reference range!

I added a title to your post so you may get more responses, SoulNHealing.

Instead of going to the ER, try to work things out so you can be followed by a regular doctor. The ER is there just to get you stabilized until you can get to a doctor's office, but not equipped at all to provide ongoing treatment.

It's tough when you don't have insurance, but do try to see a doctor for follow-up at least every six months once your dosage has been stabilized again.
