I have Graves. It just recently came back after stopping the Methimizol in June. I have had severe shoulder and wrist and thumb pain both hands. Knees are feeling too great either. Anybody else suffer from these symptoms? Going to Endo tomorrow to find out if I'm getting the ablation done.

Joint pain can be associated with Graves, although it's more common with hypothyroidism. This site has some interesting information and suggestions:

I'll be interested in hearing what you find out. My own musculoskeletal pains have been diagnosed as an extra-intestinal manifestation of my UC.

Wow Judy you have UC also! This all just started a few months ago so I figured it was from the Graves returning. I was wondering if it could be from the UC since I have no active symptoms it was just manifesting in some other way. The rheumatologist said my lab work showed inflamation. I am just in so much pain. I've had so many cortisone shots the last few months I'm embarrassed to ask for another :( hopefully today I will get answers.

There are a few of us here. Having one autoimmune condition makes us much more likely to develop a second.

about pain levels: I walked on leg with both bones broken just above the ankle for about 10 weeks, thinking it was an arthritis flare in the ankle. The bone was almost healed by the time I saw a doctor, they had to re-break it and set it with a plate and screws. Yeah, our pain is significant.

I agree, three is plenty. I tend to always be on alert to see what my immune system is going to assault next. My latest is really bad eczema.

Mine has been pretty bad on my hands lately, but I found something that really helps with it. Bag balm. It's a salve that dairy farmers use on their cows udders when they get sore or cracked. Helps heal up my skin cracks really well.
