Just wondering if anyone's had adrenal fatigue and how did you feel? I had a few weeks of heavy anxiety followed by weeks of steadily increasing fatigue. Including lightheadedness, chills, feeling sick, loose bowls, headaches and general aches and pains.

Had various tests except adrenal function, had blood cortosol, various vitamins, blood count etc. all came back normal.

Thanks.

Adrenal fatigue hasn't yet been established as an actual entity having anything to do with the adrenal glands, although stress has been known for years to cause varying physical symptoms. So far it's just an unproven theory that can sound logical when explained by a true believer.

If you do a Google or Bing search for "adrenal fatigue message boards" you should find some sites dedicated to discussing this.

Do you have a thyroid disorder?

Thyroid was a possibility. But according to one of many tests, no I don't.
Stress can indeed to many weird things. Accepting the 'whatever happens, happens' theory is the hard one

Did you have a full panel thyroid test done? TAG Level needs to be tested also Free T3 and Free T4 and with your fatigue problem serum iron test as well as cortisol testing along with vitamin D &B12 levels done. Could be anemia and fatigue within itself can cause anxiety as well as depression, Iam and have for months been suffering with extreme fatigue most test normal and fine except hemoglobin test and Iam extremely hypothyroid so those are a few reasons why Iam dealing with fatigue best of luck to you.
