Hi, everyone.

here's whats going on, at 20 years old. I started getting really fatigue, couldn't breathe and mental symptoms. My breathing got really bad and I was sent to the hospital and I was told I had hypothyroidism. It seems everything went downhill. I started forgetting things, mood changes, weight gain, fatigue, depression/anxiety and so many more symptoms. Well I never felt better on meds and was never able to find the right dosage. about a year ago, i was taken off of meds and retested six months later and my levels were normal and I've been off of thyroid pills for about 13 months and I'm 24 now, my tsh is 2.390 uIU/mL
Normal: 00.270 uIU/mL - 4.200 uIU/mL .
my free t3 & t4 didn't come in yet.

During visiting a new Doctor, she decided to test my ANA and it came back positive at 1:320 and Ra came back high and sed rate was 27.
My Doctor says that my thyroid is normal and these test are more serious and she only go by the tsh. Should I push further testing for my thyroid? I mean I'm extremely stressed about these new labs.

The ANA, sed rate and RA test for inflammatory factors, and are not specific to thyroid. They can be positive in any autoimmune disease, including Graves disease and Hashi's.

Your TSH is good after a year off supplementation, so you probably don't have thyroid problems now, if you ever did. You may want to ask for a referral to a rheumatologist to help with diagnosis in view of your new labs.

The autoimmune conditions can be pretty hard to sort out sometimes, so we have to be patient and persistent.

is it normal to have normal tsh with low free t4? I just got my test results and my free t4 is low.

t3 -124 ng/dl
range (80.0-200.0)

free t4 -0.90 ng/dl
(range 0.93-1.70)
