my pharmacist switched my synthroid I've been taking for years to levothroxine I guess my doctor approved and generic and for the past couple days I've been having a lot of PVCs or fluttering heart beats. has anybody else had this happen? I'm going back to the synthroid I'm also under a lot of stress my sister was just diagnosed with liver cancer she's only 40 so its kind of tough To know which one is causing this.
the pharmacist told me you should always stay with the samethe pharmacist told me you should always stay with the same Hormone

Hi,
It is better to be on brand name rather than the generics, this is because , with generics the manufacturer can change frequently causing a change in the formula of the medication and as a result the absorption is affected.

My insurance switched me from Synthroid to generic at one point. My levels were all over the place. Never again. The insurance company doesn't have to live in my body.
