I'd love some feedback on my test results:

FEBRUARY, MARCH, MAY, AUGUST
TSH 6.360, 3.13, 0.924, 2.873 (0.450-4.50)
FT4 1.08, 1.4, 1.5, 1.32 (0.82-1.77)
FT3 3.3, 2.9, 2.6, 3.6 (2.0-4.4)
TPO 1099, 497, 396, 471
Tg 27.5, 16.6, 7.2

Obviously I have Hashimoto's. I started off on .5 Levo in Feb., and it was increased to .75 in March. I follow a strict AIP diet with the exception of 2 Brazil nuts/day that I started eating in July (I think that helped my FT3), I'm on all kinds of supplements. I also have adrenal fatigue, MTHFR from one parent, lyme, babesia & bartonella.

So... my 0.924 TSH - do you think that was a fluke? I can't think of what would cause the increase in August. Should I be concerned about the FT4 dip in August? Could those 2 Brazil nuts really be helping my FT3?

If my FT3 stayed low, I was going to ask my doc about adding Cytomel (I think that's what it's called but I'm tired now & my brain is blah), or switching altogether to an NDT, prob NatureThroid. Now I'm not sure I should change anything. What do you all think? I see my doc in 3 days.

Hi,
Your levels from August are perfect, however, treating the adrenal fatigue should precede treating the thyroid.

It is normal for the TSH to rise after being normal with hashimoto, that is because the antibodies continue to attack your gland and cause more and more destruction .

Your FT3 is not low, and bear in mind that all of the big studies show that the addition of T3 medication does not help.

Regarding NDT, it is not approved by the American FDA .

Best of luck,
