My heart rate measured at 48 bpm last night,
It was so weak, I went to check it, and felt as though I couldn't feel it at all. So that triggered a terrible panic attack,

I ended up in the hospital, they didn't run any tests since my heart rate was up to normal while there.
I didn't like the doctor, but that's besides the point.

I'm just wondering if anyone know if a decreased heart rate can come with Hypo?

I do have a murmur and palpitations, both of which were checked out in late April of this year.

My normal heart rate is 71-88, that's why I'm freaking out..
This also happened last week when I also had my throat feel very closed up, which is what is happening now...

Thanks.

Hi,
The answer is YES , hypothyroidism does cause the heart to slow down !

Your throat might feel like this due to goiter or nodules on your thyroid gland, have you had a thyroid and neck ultrasound ?

I havent. I'm waiting on my blood test results, then I need a referral because of the type of insurance I have to go about any of that.
