Test results, please help

Hello,

I have not been feeling well, constant headache, fatigue for the past year. My doctor ordered thyroid blood test. I can't seem to understand the results can you please help me out. Thanks.

IODINE : Results 48 - Reference Range (52-109)
T3 Reverse : Results 33 - Reference Range (8-25)
THYROGLOBULIN ANTIBODIES: Results <1 Reference Range (< or = 1 IU/mL)
THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES: Results 2 Reference Range (<9)
T4: Results 1.4 Reference Range (0.8-1.8 ng/dL)
TSH: Results 1.42 Reference Range (0.40-4.50 mIU/L)
T3: Results 2.7 Reference range (2.3-4.2 pg/mL)

Is there anything i should worry about, i noticed that my t3 reversed is a little bit elevated.

Hi ,

Your tests show that you don't have hashimoto's disease, since the antibodies are negative.
Also your FT3/4 are optimal and normal and so is your TSH.

I have no experience with reverse T3 and Iodine.

You might want to consult with an endo and to retest TSH, FT3 and FT4 in another six weeks, there is also another antibodies test called TSI which can cause hyper since it stimulate the thyroid gland to produce hormones, ask to be tested for it .
