Hi, first post here. Sry for my english, I am from Denmark.
I have been really sick for the last year and a half. Being bed bound a lot of that time.
Some of my symptoms are:
Dizzyness, hearth skipping beats, a lot og muscle pain especially in the ribs, upper back, throat and calfes. A lot of eyetrouble, floaters, small black dots, gravel feeling and eyepain. Pain in joints. Problems with stomach. Weak muscles. Fast pulse that comes and goes. Sweaty hands. Muscle twitchning. Shortness of breath. Shaking fingers and internal vibration.
It started with me being rushed to the E.R feeling numbness in my arms, legs and the back of my head, it came almost like an attack. The did an MRI scan that came back normal and sent me home. From that point I had diahrrea constant for 3 months, but luckily the numbness slowly went away. I felt like a train had hit my body. All off the other symptoms begin to come over the next year. I have had nearly all tests know to man, nothing unsual. Until now. My doctor took a thyroid test last week and the tsh came back at 0,068. She will take another test in 2 weeks together with antibody tests.
Could hyperthyroidism be the root of some of my issues? I have a hard time to believe it could be causing all of the symptoms, what is your experience?
Another reason is that my thyroid was checked 1 year ago, after being sick 3 months, and it came back with normal tsh on 1.1. Can the tsh come back normal even though I already on that time had a thyroid disease?
Sry for the long post and my english.
