I have been on synthroid for 15 plus years..my Endo has switched me to Triosint for several reasons (one being its gluten free), however she has had a really hard time getting me regulated on it and I'm coming in more hyper than hypo now. Wondering if anyone has been on this one and your thoughts? I'm debating asking her next week if I should just go back on synthroid. Thanks

Hi Swilla71,

I have never tried Tirosint my self but what I do know is that because it is a gel capsule and very minimalist with fillers and binders it is absorbed much more better than other forms of Levo and thus you will need to take a lower weekly dose to reach the same levels, if you have been on the same dose of it for at least six weeks then perform blood tests and go from there.

Best of luck Swilla71,
